In August 2010, The 4th operating session of the Northwest Trunk Lines occurred. The ever increasing scale miles of track and the proliferating scenery provided the ingredients for another well attended session.
A Great Northern GE W-1 leads an Empire Builder streamlined passenger train through a long tunnel while a waiting Santa Fe passenger train (led by an ABA configured Alco PA) stands by for tunnel access.
Later in the desert, a Rio Grande ABA PA meets the the Santa Fe consist (with several views of the meet and the surrounding dramatic terrain.)
