A video (3:02) recorded while visiting Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and featuring some sights and sounds of CSX railroad traffic including the Potomac River bridges, the Maryland Heights Tunnel, and the Harpers Ferry Amtrak station.

After an overview of the area, our point of view (at about the one minute mark) is from the 1894 steel Pratt truss and plate girder bridge where we observe an EMD GP40-2 (CSX #6968) joined with a road slug (CSX #2368) followed by another GP40-2 and pulling a set of covered hoppers on the 1931 deck plate girder bridge, heading east toward the Maryland Heights Tunnel.

Consists include tank cars, hoppers, covered hoppers. In the final scene, two CSX GE AC44CW’s lead a mostly covered hoppers consist past the restored Amtrak passenger station.
